Living in accordance with and understanding of Universal Law allows you to enter into a flow with the Divine Energy. Recognizing which Law is active in the current circumstance gives the ability to determine the best course of action in relation to that Law. The Universal Law of Cause and Effect as referenced in the Kybalion states, “Every Cause has its Effect; every Effect has its Cause; everything happens according to Law; Chance is but a name for Law not recognized; there are many planes of causation, but nothing escapes the Law.”

You have the power to create as a result of this principle. Everything in your life is the direct result of your thoughts and actions, even when there seems no direct correlation between them. Each choice you make has a direct effect on the direction you move in, even the choice to do nothing. When deciding which relationships to keep close, which courses to study, and which mindset to uphold, all of these direct your path and create the future.

Choice determines the action to follow, and the mindset you embrace restricts or expands the range of possibilities available. Believing that obstacles prevent you from moving forward has the effect of limiting your opportunities. Trusting that there are myriad alternatives and then seeking to discover what they are serves to broaden options and creates a more optimistic outlook.

Manifest Your Ideal Life by Understanding Self-knowledge

Take stock of the thoughts that occupy your mind and the effect these have on how you see the world. If there is anger, self-deprecation, and pessimism, then the result is misery and disdain. To look at yourself and your life as an opportunity to learn and grow creates a wonderful journey of self-discovery. Controlling negative thinking is essential in order to manifest your ideal life.

True power hides within you. Self-knowledge, the development of personal will, and connection to Divine Will, allows you to have the confidence to create your life any way you choose. Imagine feeling great, having a sense of fulfillment, and being ready to create your life the way you have always wanted it to be! Whatever you are going through personally is projected outward and expressed into your relationships, your work, and your way of being. You are the cause and the effect that reflects back to you in every aspect of your life.

The Lessons to Find in Divine Energy

It is important to recognize where you are in this moment. Let go of the past. The past needs to stay there and not impact the now or your ability to move forward. So, learn from it. Keep the lesson and let go of the emotions associated with it. For now, do not worry about how you got here, just move forward from where you are to get to where you want to be. By this, I mean where you are internally, for you manifest outside of yourself what you are on the inside. Notice that this is not about desire or manifesting what you wish for. Your internal energy must align with your outer goals if you are to come fully into your power. By understanding your current state, you can decide which aspects of yourself you wish to maintain and which you would like to discard or modify.

Intention is the primary tool we use to shape our lives. With each gesture, thought, intention, action, and interaction, we move energy. For many, the word “intention” brings forth the idea of an affirmation, saying what you want over and over again until it comes true or until you start to believe it. I call this wishcraft, and feel that while this is one way to begin the journey of goal-setting, there are more powerful methods for claiming intention. In its formal definition, intention is an anticipated outcome that guides your actions. Cause and effect.

The Importance of Clear Intent in Energy Work

There must be clear intent before moving energy in a specific direction. The desire and motivation of the originator directs the flow and texture of the energy. What manifests is dictated by intention. Intention is the key to focusing your attention and, thereby, directing the energy.

Energy is directed by determining a specific goal and visualizing the attainment of that goal. The moving of the energy is what is important; the ability to direct the energy to manifest what intention and will dictates. Be clear on your motivation and intent in your interactions and in formulating your desires. Finally, if you do not know what you want, you cannot direct your energy toward it. Making the choice, understanding why you are choosing it, and tapping into the motivation behind it serves to direct energy in a laser-focused way. The accumulation and specific release of energy is the key to manifestation of a vision.
