As a numerologist, people are always asking me questions about seeing the same number all the time. Most people are curious, and some actually frightened when they see the number. Especially when it is the birthday number of theirs or a deceased loved one, or even an ex-partner, they are freaked out.

Numbers are significant and play a big role in our lives. If you see the same number everywhere, like on your clock, the subway and on someone’s shirt all in the one day you should pay attention to where you are going or what you said a minute before. It is a clear stand-up and take notice sign for you to act on. You may be strikingly surprised at your ‘aha’ moment.

The specific numbers do tell a story, but it is first important to examine what is going on in the person’s life in order to see the full meaning of the repeating message.

At meaningful times in my life, I see the number 45. It is uncanny. At this point, I do not freak out. 45 was the address of the house I lived in while growing up. 4 (home, earth, grounding) + 5 (energy, change, socializing) = 9 (transformation and completion). It usually occurs when I am the precipice of a significant, often emotional time or decision in my life. I look up at the number of the room I am walking into and it is number “45”. I shake my head, sometimes with a shudder, and think, “of course”. It is so.

Important for you to know, dear reader, when you see 45, it may mean something different to you. But then again, everyone’s transformation is different.

Seeing 11:33

Here is another example.

“I keep seeing the same number everywhere — 11:33, and have noticed 7:14 my whole life! What’s up with that??? —Stacey

As far as 11:33.. wow, crazy— two master numbers! A master number is a series of two numbers of the same value, like 11 and 33. These numbers have very powerful vibrations and can affect your life in a profound way. The 11 is the number of inspiration, leadership, and invention and the 33 is the number profound self-expression, creativity, and service.

Did you notice what you were thinking or doing when you saw these numbers?

These are all clues. The universe is alerting you to take notice of something that will move your life forward and/or something you need to pay attention to.

All of you have a story. For instance, while driving to Maine last week, my friend and I counted the repeating numbers on the license plates that jumped at us. We kept seeing “333” “777”, while deep in conversation about life and freedom.

Repeating numbers occur in art and music as well as clocks and nature.

Seeing the Same Number Journal

When you see a repeating number, it is a message to you, an “aha” moment, a message from the universe to pay attention to the thought you were thinking or saying. You have the key to the meaning. It is nothing to fear, it is a direction of focus in some form. I highly suggest to my clients to start a “same number” journal to report your insights when you see the same number. Is there a question you have been pondering lately that has to do with your next step in your life? Pay attention to the signs when the numbers pop up again.
