Whether we believe there is an afterlife or not, whether we are more scientifically minded or open to other possibilities, there is no denying that the paranormal field draws many peoples interest. From ghosts to residual hauntings, many of us want to know what does exist after we slip our human form, and even more intriguing … are we able to communicate with the Spirits of people who have died?

I had the pleasure of sitting with two people who are trying to find those answers and more. Sean and Bex Reynolds are from the UK smash series “ Ghost Dimension,” and I asked them a bit about life in the field as paranormal investigators and just how they balance that life with their three amazing young girls in 2018.

Bear Medicinewalker: Well the two of you lead an exciting life, so what made you guys get into paranormal research Sean?

 Sean and Bex Reynolds: “When I was around 12 years of age I woke to see a man sitting on my bed petting my dog. Ever since my interest in the paranormal grew and after I met Bex, we decided that it would be fab to move into the gatehouse of a cemetery.”

Bear Medicinewalker: Well Bex I would think that should prove for some interesting stories.

Sean and Bex Reynolds: “Yes the house comes with its own ghostly tales, and it was those bumps in the night, doors opening and little voices that made me decide to research into the paranormal and see if what we are experiencing is normal occurrences or is it truly “Spirit” connecting with us.

Bear Medicinewalker: Well that begs me to ask you, Sean, do intuitive or Mediumship/psychic abilities grow as you work more and more in the field?

Sean and Bex Reynolds: “I feel my intuitive side grow as I work more in the field, sensing if something is about to happen or if a place that we enter is not going to be active. I never class myself as psychic, and I have worked with some of the world’s most famous psychic’s that believed I was but I simply class myself as intuitive.”

Bear Medicinewalker: Sean, raising a family of 3 young children keeps you busy, how do you balance that with the work that you two do?

Sean and Bex Reynolds: “Family is always at the forefront before the work in the paranormal field that we do, we plan our investigations around times when our children are going to be at home and tucked away into bed so that when we are working, they are sleeping. In the daytime when it comes to post-production, we balance this at times the children are not around, so they get family time with us both.”

Bear Medicinewalker: Bex what will you teach your children about what you do?

Sean and Bex Reynolds: “When they are old enough, I’ll tell them what we do and the full extent of it from the light to the dark and let them make up their own minds about if they believe it’s real or not and either way, I’ll support them 100%.”

Bear Medicinewalker: Sean what would be the most important thing that you want to accomplish doing the research you are doing?

Sean and Bex Reynolds: “We both would like to prove that there is an afterlife, but to do so with the utmost respect for the spirit.”

Bear Medicinewalker: What do you guys hope for the future of Paranormal Research?

Sean and Bex Reynolds: “That it becomes less of a mockery for those people who do not understand the field and that one day, everyone takes this field seriously for us all to understand what happens as we enter the next chapter of our existence.

Whether we will ever find answers that will prove beyond a reasonable doubt for everyone can’t be foretold. However, things that go bump in the night will always intrigue people to keep pushing further and further to get the scientific proof so many are hoping for from what some people call the “ Ghost Dimension.”
