Do You Believe in Dragon Magick?
Dragon Magick is believed to be the magic with the help of the Dragons. It is a branch of magic not connected to Wicca that, as its name says, makes use of the contact and the magical energy of the Dragons. Dragon Magick practitioners use magic quite in a different way from the Wiccans.

First, we should emphasize that there are very few sources available on the subject and, and they can cover different aspects of the relationship with these astral Beings.
What are Dragons?
Dragons are beings that inhabit one of the many dimensions of the astral planes which we have contact and touch our world in some way. If dragons ever had a physical existence in this plane is something that cannot be said for sure.
But, the infinity of legends and myths about these beings leads us to deduct that they make frequent visits to our plan of existence since the dawn of our humanity.
According to an old legend, when the dragons first encountered the human being, still in the early days of the human species, in their wisdom, they decided to take care of the child being born, this new species, to help it develop.
But, humans became so cruel to each other, that the dragons began to think it was not worth caring for humanity.
So, they started to withdraw further into their dimension until they were no longer visible in this world.
The changing behavior of some humans, which enabled the return of the Goddess and the strengthening of environmental movements, caused some dragons to intend to approach humanity again, provided the initiative initiated by us.
Because they inhabit one of any dimensions we consider as the astral world, dragons can assume any shape and size they desire, but they often take the human form to communicate better with a man being.
Since the dawn of time, dragons represent magic, for it is through it that these creatures create life in this dimension. That’s why Magic practitioners can get in touch with dragons.
Dragons as Guardians of Wisdom
Dragons are wise and powerful beings, who have a rigid code of ethics and take commitments you assumed with them as very serious. They often react with extreme violence when they feel they have been used or betrayed in some way. They are not evil, but they can be passionate.
The practice of Dragon Magick, thus, requires discipline, ethical behavior in all areas of life, respect for the free will of other beings, and respect and reverence for life and the commitments before established.
What does it take to practice Dragon Magick?
Before anything else, you need to know why you want to practice this kind of magic. If your primary motivation is respect and love for dragons and magic, go ahead. But, if your goal is to gain the power to impress others, give up while it’s time.
If your motivations are worthy and your desire sincere, begin to deepen your knowledge and your connection to the elements. Buy figurines and jewels from dragons as they are attracted to people who like them and that display this love.
It would help if you had an altar dedicated to the practice of Dragon Magick, with instruments dedicated only for this purpose.
You will need the necessary tools, Crystals, a wand, chalice and more. Even a mirror, a cauldron and, if possible, a sword.
The first step is to establish contact with the dragons. You can succeed the first time you try, or it can take several months. This first contact should be through a ritual.
When a dragon introduces itself, create a bond of friendship, love, and mutual respect with him (or her). Spend some time narrowing those ties. Invite him to take part in his rituals, so that he begins to be part of his magical life.
When you feel that your connection to him is firm and full, it is time to take the next step. Ask him to help you find the magical instruments you will use in Dragon Magick practice.
From there, begin to narrow your contact with the dragons associated with each element.
Meditate with them, dance and sing to them. Try to light candles on your altar every night as a tribute to the dragons. Start evoking them whenever you do magic, asking them to add their energy to your spells and rituals.
You will see that they begin to teach you things, to propose works and new magical ideas, and to help you find books and other sources that aid in your magical development.
Dragons will always be present in your life as long as you have consistent attitudes and remain true to your code of ethics.
