The Fool Card: The Tarot Arcane for October 2019

Fool Card Tarot OMTimes

The Energy Forecast for the month of October brings The Fool Card to the forefront.

Tarot for October 2019 Energy Forecast: The Fool Card

October is starting bringing with it the feeling that “now things are going to work,” “now everything will be ok,” I will fix my relationship that was a little worn out, I will make peace with myself and with the world, finally. But hope fulfills its role by renewing itself every day, week, month, and every year…

This month, our Arcane for October is the Fool Card, the only Card in the tarot that has two numerical designations simultaneously: The Number 0 and the Master number 22. The Fool Card reminds us that it is not enough to wish, you must really want to make some changes in your life if you want things to start to happen, but first, one ought to change the way he looks at life!

The fool is not a madman, but he is an archetype of purity and vulnerability, just like our inner child.

The Fool Card, it is not just in the name that this card is curious:  to be the last in the deck – number 22 – it is also considered card zero, as it can indicate both the beginning of the Tarot’s circular route and its end.

The Master Number Twenty-Two

The number 22 is a master number that represents the material world, the concrete world. It is related to everything that involves construction, work, power, and optimism.  When under the influence of the number 22, you may find very generous, open-minded people, those who strive to help who they can.

The Number Zero

Zero is often associated with a circle, containing within it all other numbers and their implications. It is the origin of the other numbers, the numerical representation of the divinity that creates.

The number 0 is the essence of creation. Everything that exists in the physical world originated from scratch and will end up at zero as it goes through a complete circle.

Therefore, because they are not perceptible in the material and conscious world, the numerological vibrations of number 0 have no direct effect on the definition of our destinies and life lessons. The recognition of zero and its power leads us to aspire to divinity and the fullness of consciousness, and the path to it is magnifying.

This setting, when applied to interpretations, always reflects changes in a person’s life, whether they are the beginning of a process, or at the end of something.

More often than not, this peculiar character drives us to adopt more spontaneous ways and to launch ourselves into this crazy world without knowing what might happen next.

However, despite the uncertainty about what might happen by doing this, discovering something new or hoping for a better future is what makes us overcome our primary fear and move on.

Undoubtedly, The Fool Card is a positive card because it manifests energy, avant-garde, impetus.

By ignoring the orthodox ideas and prejudices that dominate our times, we can move forward, feel free, and discover things that, at an earlier stage of submission to established dogmas, would be impossible.

When the Fool Card represents the number zero on the Tarot, means that it is, in itself already the beginning of everything, without attachment and being completely carefree. When the Fool is representing the number 22, it embodies the finishing of a cycle of learning, and the new beginning will start from what was built in the previous phase, and sometimes may end, without previous warnings.

But the Fool Card has the wisdom to allow himself to try something new without wanting to control the results all the time. The need to have control over everything is nothing but insecurity, fear of taking risks, and so we missed out on great opportunities, including the many opportunities that life offers to us to be happy.

If the only constancy in life is change, then why to insist on wanting to do everything the same way, we know what result we will get. That is the definition of insanity, doing the same thing over and over, expecting different results.

This month it is important to be careful with your health, as psychological problems may arise, such as obsessions or depressions. Do not neglect any possible sign of your body.  Be very careful, because The Fool also brings the tendency to be reckless with your wellbeing.

Money should also be well controlled as we enter a period where it will be easy to fall into excessive and unnecessary spending. This is an intense wish archetype that doesn’t ponder its actions or evaluate circumstances, so you know, a little spending containment won’t hurt, believe me!

We must have more faith in the immeasurable strength of our universe, believing that whatever we plant, we will reap, we are solely responsible for our pursuit for happiness, if we truly strive for the good, giving our best, then we can rest assure in the knowing that we will harvest  the best fruits of our actions.

In this October, the intention will be to take a chance. The Fool Card is detached, not crazy, but he just doesn’t allow his inner child to be silenced, and he refuses to see life only with the hardened eyes of adults. The Fool Card represents the discovery of new horizons, the thirst to face and overcome new challenges. This Arcanum goes down the road without fear spontaneously, even though having butterflies in the belly before the unknown. Take the time to learn and expand your horizons.

So let’s be more childlike and start dealing with life’s adversities with joy, because rigidity, moodiness, harshness,  and complaints, none of this will make your dreams come true; on the contrary, it will only attract people and situations aligned with the frequency you are vibrating. The universe is not punishing or blessing anyone, it is just responding to the vibrational attitude you are delivering!
