Are you moving to a new home? Do you notice that you feel better in some places rather than others? Perhaps you feel run down lately, or things are not getting done. It could have something to do with where you live!!!
The numbers of your home address are kind of like the personality of the place you live in. Adding the sum of these numbers shows an energy that can be warm and loving or an atmosphere of lots of movement and social events. Sometimes your home just does not suit you anymore. Perhaps it has done its job and it is time to move! Alternatively, you can get a Feng Shui adjustment to assist you in achieving more harmony and balance, but that is another story.
Here is the formula. If you live in a house, add the sum of the numbers. Do not add the letters of your street address.
For example, let’s take the Microsoft headquarters
1 Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA. In address numerology, we just look at the numbers of the address, not the name of the street.
The personality of 1 is to move forward with innovative ideas and leadership. At the beginning of the computer revolution, Microsoft took the lead in presenting the business computer in every office. As the company evolved, a slew of new software was introduced.
Ok, coincidentally? Let’s take the headquarters of Apple Corporation in Cupertino.
1 Infinite Loop, Cupertino, California. Here is another “1” personality. With the onset of the Mac/iPhone, iTunes, etc., Apple took the lead in creating a more personal computer that was easier to work with.
There is a challenge to every number. The challenge of the “1” is striving to improve on itself, and never standing still. Continually reinventing itself. It can be tiring for one person, but it seems like both Microsoft and Apple have formed many supportive groups within their organizations to achieve a successful franchise. They are continually creating new and innovative software and products, with superior marketing strategy and branding. Therefore they remain giants in their field.
Address Numerology – What If You Live in An Apartment Building?
If you live in an apartment building, your apartment number is the most important number in your address. (Ignore the other numbers in the street address, such as 9th Avenue.) So if your apartment number is 10B. You would add the sum like this: 1+0+2 = 3 (B equals a 2).
Take a look at the chart below to see the number value of each letter for your apartment. Then look at the definitions below for the energy of your apartment.
What About the Number of Your Apartment Building?
The number of your apartment building for all the residents in that building is considered the environment of everyone in the building. Say you were living in 140 West Boulevard, apt 1B. The environment of your building is the 5 (1+4=5) Five, which is all about change and movement and is very social. There may be a lot of turnover or people socializing and having parties. The challenge could be dissidence with the neighbors or the opposite, isolating in your apartment.
Address Numerology Using Number Definitions
Remember to add all the numbers together first. If you live in an apartment building, the number of your apartment is the most important. Also important, if you live in a number that has duplicates (or triplicates) of the same number, they are considered master numbers and have a powerful effect. For example, 11/22/33/44/55 or 333/444/555.

Perhaps you feel insecure or afraid to share your true self. Suggestion: Paint, write, or gather with family members and do a creative project together.
4 — Four is the environment of the builder and the home. It is a place of organization and beauty in a very precise way. The challenge is to run your house with too many rules, or you may feel stuck in a rut. Suggestion: Open up to doing one frivolous thing a day.
5 — Five is the home of charisma, a very active and social atmosphere. It is the energy of the fire and change. Challenge: having too much to do. It can get exhausting. Suggestion – allow yourself to slow down without so much to do, take a walk in nature with no stimulus from others.
6 — The 6 home is often warm and comfortable with a feeling of safety. Challenge: obsessing about pleasing everyone or becoming a couch potato. Suggestion: Take time to do things for yourself and try to let go of worry and caretaking. Find things to stimulate your mind and life.
7 — Seven is the spiritual number, a number of being intrigued by the unknown. Here is a home where its’ inhabitance can feel unique and not afraid of what others think. It often has a look of the non-conformist, like interesting colors and objects. Challenge: feeling left out, not accepted, hard to get things done. Suggestion: be open to accepting yourself exactly the way you are.
8 — Eight can be a charismatic home for all its inhabitance. It is all about success and creation. It could for a great place for business. Challenge: The energy can be too demanding. Suggestion: create an atmosphere that works. Set up your desk near a well-lit window, and keep your kitchen organized. Entertain sometimes but have some alone time as well.
9 — The nine is all about transformation, completion, and change. Often times, the 9 home is one of learning about yourself and your family. Challenge: Let go of analyzing every little thing that you are about to do. It can be very tiresome. Suggestion: Chill. Stop thinking and do something fun, like dancing or skiing.
