What is the astrology of the pandemic? What can the stars say about this planetary crisis that has thrown our world into chaos and has dragged many economies to their knees? What are the Astrological prognostics for our immediate future?

The dance of the planets in the skies and the self-knowledge tool they represent are really a divine gift for Humanity, which reflects the wisdom of the creator and the entire orchestra that exists in the Universe.

Astrology of the Pandemic: The Unfolding of a Rare Aspectation

Astrological interpretations for our pandemic abound. There are several professionals who, since the virus left China, have been making predictions and interpretations about the astrological and spiritual significance of this new world. And, according to them, the aspectations in the sky reflect these historical events on Earth through a rare and expected Stellium conjunction in Capricorn, which means radical changes. There are many planets in this sign: Saturn, Pluto, Jupiter, and Mars. Each planet with its energy, the encounter between all these giants in Capricorn is really worthy of events like the ones we are witnessing, with substantial impacts on the world economy, politics and culture, and the survival of our species.

“Astronomy compels our soul to look up and take us from our world to another.” ~ Plato

Capricorn is a sign connected to the representation of power and money. It is an Earth sign, standing for what is material and mundane. Therefore, it is these aspects of Capricorn that set the tone for this rare planetary conjunction: Changes in power, money systems, and social structures.

We talk about politics, family, religiosity, economics. This concentration of planets in Capricorn announces difficult times of scarcity, obstacles many challenges to be dealt with. The Astrology of the Pandemics interpretation reflects precisely what we are experiencing, with some markets temporarily empty, borders being closed between countries, and restricted circulation of people. There is also a side of this planetary concentration that speaks of loneliness and Isolation, another factor that we are all feeling on our skin. Economy and resource management will be areas to be resized, as we can already imagine. And there are also indications in the stars that the Crisis will continue still in development for a while.

In the aspect of power, it is Saturn who brings this strength to astrological aspectation. The planet is very much connected to power, social structure, Isolation, and order. This is another point in which we see the perfect choreography between the planets and our reality: we have seen the efforts of the State, and governments in all affected nations to contain the pandemic and maintain order. We have also seen how the coronavirus has impacted world politics. Still, in many countries, the pandemic is very polarized and politicized. Unfortunately.

In this stellium aspectation, Jupiter represents expansion and growth, pointing to an evolutionary perspective at the end of the pandemic and the world after it. In other words, everything that needs to “expand to continue” is receiving a more intense influence from the stars. Pluto influences this aspectation’s account, as it means death and transformation.

The Stellium of Deep Transformation

We will witness many types of death, some literally, others symbolic and many new beginnings. Undoubtedly, some people will leave, but we see astrologically that some obsolete ideas will also die. Much that does not follow the mental evolution of Humanity will be left behind and abandoned. It has never been easier to understand our most basic mistakes and understand how we can improve our Humanity, our world, and as a society. The Burning Relation between Mars and Pluto.

A stellium is an astrological configuration where many planets are present in one sign at the same time.

The power play between the planets Mars and Pluto, represented by this conjunction, may indicate something that breaks out, something that is violent and blunt, but at the same time, something that controls and contains, like an infection, for example. Pluto, God of the underworld, was regarded as one that could unleash such forces to the upper world of Humanity. Our body had surrendered to an invisible organism, and our immune system then started a war against that invader.

But we can also think about war because that is what we are experiencing. A battle against a virus.

Europe’s elderly have reported precisely that feeling when they remember the great war. Apprehension about shortages, curfew, restricted mobility, and a lot of tension in the air brings back this atmosphere of fear and uncertainty.

Fortunately, this time no bombs are exploding overhead, and no bullets are coming in through the windows. Our quarantine is much more peaceful and peaceful. At least until now.

Anyway, Pluto and Mars indicate a period of extreme tension and a great need to “reorganize life on new bases.” Everything related to the economy may enter a fall or even a recession. Fortunately, this conjunction will end, and other more fortunate will come, reflecting the recovery we will have after this Crisis.

A New Crisis with Very Old Roots

Through times many astrologers tried to have a grip about the astrology of the Pandemic. The French astrologers Henri Gouchon and André Barbault studied pinnacles of Humanity Historical Crisis and published astrological studies predicting that the worst Crisis of modern Humanity would occur between the years 2020 and 2022.

It was in 1946 that Henri Gouchon released this descriptive study, called the “Planetary Concentration Index of Slow Planets.” In it, we have an analogy between the relative distance of the planets Jupiter and Neptune and the repercussion of these relations on Earth.

A few years later, André Barbault improved this evaluation “technique” of aspects even more. Using graphs, the study shows the peaks that identify moments when the statistical result of Humanity’s feelings tends towards optimism, hope, and progress. In the valleys, that is, when the graphs go down, they are moments when fear and discouragement are feelings that become more present. In these moments of falling emotions, events such as the First and Second World Wars and the Cold War are positioned.

When we look at the charts from 2014 onwards, we see that it is in that year that they started a vertiginous vector descent that goes until 2022. In this study, the time interval between 2020 and 2022 is the most adverse moment of the 21st century. For our Humanity.

The Astrology of the Pandemic and their Planetary Configurations

There are certain astrological “coincidences” between the sky of the current pandemic and that of other similar moments in history. The junction between Mercury and Neptune, for example, seems to favor the spread of viruses such as the coronavirus. Mercury indicates contagion of the virus through movement; elements such as lungs and breathing are also related to this planet.

But not only was the coronavirus pandemic aware of this tension between Mercury and Neptune. When there was the Bubonic Plague, for example, we had this same planetary conjunction, a period when the bacteria that caused the plague arrived in Europe via Italian ships returning from China with goods.

Another example of how the spread of diseases on a large scale can occur when Neptune and Mercury meet is the Spanish flu. In essence, the first case was reported in March 1918. Still, the increase in cases occurred the following month when Mercury and Neptune once again joined in heaven.
