The month of February brings the energy of the Chariot Card to the front revealing the prelude of new birth.

Tarot Arcanum for February: The Chariot Card

The 7th card from the Major Arcana of the Tarot is conventionally known to be Arcane of Initiation. It is also considered to be the symbol of Purity, and of exercise of Free will. In Metaphysics, the Chariot is called the Merkabah element of the Tarot archetypes.

One of the cards with the most significant symbolism in the tarot deck is that of Chariot. Its meaning is closely related to initiations, new beginnings, and unique movement after a stationary period. Still, they are not the only themes that can be interpreted through it. The image evoked by this symbol is one of a chick breaking through the egg to be born.

For many of us, it is the prelude of new birth.

It is almost as an inner Spring is starting at the Soul Level

Analyzing it in detail, we can find that it is the number Seven of the 22 Major Arcana is associated with Gemini’s sign. The 7th Arcanum refers to Fast communications, changes, technology, and social media. In any case, both associations are correct, according to many famous tarot readers. Its ruling star is Mercury. It belongs to the air element and is linked to Spring.

Traditionally, the Chariot’s card represents a man, a car driver, or a charioteer driving a carriage with different horses tending to go in different directions. The man is in conflict when choosing between two or more paths. Evidently, this is the same person who was undergoing crucial decisions on The Lovers’ previous Arcanum. The imagery points to a need to continue on the path you have decided, with determination, and maybe choosing between distinctive approaches.

But that decision may not be as easy as it may seem. This Arcanum also evokes the need to adjust situations inside your family matters. It involves the realms of love (romantic) life and family ties, the legal situation among siblings, inheritance, and other family members.

It is a card that also asks for reflection before making any decision, before starting a journey into a road. Once activated, you may find it difficult to leave the path or to reconcile with people, facts, and circumstances that were left behind.

The Chariot Card – Symbol of Illumination and Soul Evolution

The Illumination of this archetype tries to clarify our consciousness to make a balanced decision. We may be suffering from one of the many obfuscations provoked by our egos e a web of human desires.

Energetically speaking, this card brings us back to the same period of last year (due to the influence of a Mercury retrograde). A period where many projects and promises were forgotten and abandoned due to social distancing and the new social dynamics dictated by the pandemic. We are called again to evaluating and reassessing situations that are maybe lingering since last Fall, and it is time to start again with a clean slate.

Serious decisions need to be made, some of exceedingly difficult nature, nonetheless necessary to our spiritual progress.

The Number Seven is a Mercurial number, bringing communications of love and financial contracts into the front scene. Despite being of a Mercurial influence, it is imperative to keep a clear mind and start acting towards what we really want to see realized in our lives.

The Chariot is also a card that talks about beauty, art, and imagination, and originality. If you have projects or personal dreams you have been harboring inside your head, this is the time to seek ways to make them come into realizations.

The Beginning of a New Era with the New Tarot Arcanum

There is a new Clarion call. A unique and more benevolent energy is forming on the horizon. Many elements are rearranging themselves to give birth to a new phase of expansion. It will demand more energetic involvement on your part. In other words, you will need to keep in mind what you want. Only then you will positively manifest it in your life to bring it into existence.

The negative side of this card is that it shows the fear of making miscalculations while making a decision. Perhaps because you will be going through a moment of a lot of external pressure and tensions. Know that if you remain calm and act prudently, you will find the best solution.

The Tarot Arcanum of the Chariot and Your Love Life

Perhaps there is another person in your life that you are interested in, or this person may appear at any time. Therefore, it is time for you to think calmly and clearly and analyze what is best for you.
