February is typically the month of romance. Valentine’s day has become the “public celebration” of love in many cultures.
Two is all about connection, relationship, and love. It is not just one-on-one relationships, and not just love for your family or partner. But, it is bigger than that. It is stepping out into this changing world and regenerating as a plant connects to the sun.
This involves self-acceptance, getting out of the way of your brain’s judgments of self and how people see you. February can be a vibrant time in 2022 when you can connect to source and have a relationship with spirit, the plant world, and your creative child inside. Meditation, exercise, planting, dancing, hiking, and painting are all examples of connecting to the source.
And yes, we need to adjust and not isolate ourselves at this poignant time. Many of us feel like our nervous systems are shot. We may be living in the shadow or lesson of the 2. On the other hand, the lesson may push us past our comfort zone, shifting to a new paradigm – of sharing and putting ourselves out there in a different way.
Relationship Compatibility with a Numerology Twist
The ‘two’ month is a perfect time to look at a relationship in your life. You can pick a partner, a sibling, your daughter, or perhaps someone you are attracted to. There are many ways of examining compatibility in your relationship. First, let’s look at what numerologists call the “inspiration number.” This number represents the energy that inspires you in your life. This energy is called the “catalyst” or “achievement” number.
Once you find the catalyst of your partner, you can understand how to encourage their vision in life. During this discovery, take a look at your achievement number and see how your person is encouraging your path as well. In this way, you can negotiate how to appreciate each other more.
How to calculate your Inspiration Number
Add the month and day of your birthday and then reduce. The exception is the master number 11. (Because of its intensity, you do not reduce.)
Example: If you were born on September 27, the formula would be like this:
9+2+7 =18, which reduces to a 9. Nine is your inspiration number.
What inspires the nine (9) energy is connecting spiritually to the bigger purpose of life and transformation. So how would you motivate this person’s vision? And how can they motivate yours? (There is a good chance you are both doing it somehow, especially since you are together.) For the nine, you might suggest taking a yoga class as an example.
Inspiration numbers and how they can encourage your relationships Here is a short description of each catalyst’s energy, including how you can support each other. Note: Your relationship can become challenging if you do not appreciate or are impatient with what may inspire your partner.

1. Someone with a 1 inspiration number is inspired by action and taking the lead somehow. –You: Encourage their ideas and get involved in their projects.
2. Inspiration ‘2” is connecting and loving. – Action: open to their gestures and do not pull away.
3. Creative expression in every form – art, music, writing. Action: welcome creativity and participate if it moves you.
4. The builder and organizer – Action: appreciate and perhaps join in as they build a cabinet, design your living room, or work in the garden.
5. Enjoys change, being out there with people, and having fun. This energy does not enjoy stagnation. Action – take pleasure in their vibrant personality, and encourage them to do different things that they may want to do but are too shy or cautious.
6. Six is the number of compassion, family, and service. Action – do not freeze up. Share the love and open up to each other as well as others that are in your life.
7. Sevens are inspired by the unknown, the spiritual, and the unique. Action – Do something different together, exploring nature, for example. Do not judge.
8. Eight is inspired by charisma, being out there as a leader, and achieving success. Action – Participate and encourage a project or idea that may be unfolding.
9. Dedicated to a higher spiritual path and understanding the nature of the mind and the heart. Action: Join them in meditation or a program based on transformation and change.
11. When two numbers add to a master 11, you do not reduce (such as August 3 (8 +3 = 11.) Master 11 is inspired by new and often life-changing ideas and actions. You – Encourage and often get involved, even if the ideas seem impossible.
