Together Forever? Life after Death and Family Members

Life after Death

The Universal evolutionary process comprises the passage through various experiences and multiple dimensions of growth, with life being infinitely more significant than the short space between birth and death.

Together Forever? Do We Meet our Family Members after Death?

However, death is usually considered deep pain and eternal longing, the presence of absence. Especially for those who lose a child, there seems to be no consolation to comfort the mother’s heart, which is desperate. There is only pain. However, even death is a cultural construct, meaning different cultures and religions attribute different meanings and outlooks to this certainty of life.

Unfortunately for those who live in the West, death is taboo and is accompanied by great distress and suffering. But the treatment given to death by the Indian or Buddhist culture, for example, is very different from the Western one and, often, has a connotation of liberation and is even celebrated with joy by the family, who understand that that spirit is following its spiritual Blueprint, and the reunion between them is certain.

 Therein lies the secret.

Regardless of anything, death is a painful process. According to Christianity, life after death is directly linked to the idea of heaven (sometimes purgatory!) and hell. Depending on that soul’s deeds in life, the idea is that it will be judged and directed to one of these three “places” and will stay there forever. The soul, for Christians, is considered eternal, does not return in other bodies, and does not live other lives. The concept of reincarnation is not part of this doctrine, which is very distressing and not very comforting for those who lose a loved one because if that spirit does not obtain divine forgiveness, it will be condemned to eternal damnation and the reunion with family members who go to the heaven is impossible. At best, these “sinners” get the chance to be purified in astral “rehabilitation centers” in so-called purgatory, an intermediate stage between heaven and hell.

But this is not the only possibility, fortunately. Other points of view are much more in line with the true meaning of life and worthy of universal cosmic intelligence and the unconditional love that emanates from it.

KNOWING THE SPIRIT IS THE KEY TO NOT SUFFERING

Religion and the country where we were born greatly influence the conception of life after death and the possibility of meeting with a deceased family member. The reference to the belief in reincarnation is of great help in understanding why and where we go when we die. The conception and knowledge that we have about our spiritual condition are fundamental for us to get closer to the reality in which we are inserted and better understand the phenomena of death.

“We are Souls Having Human experiences.”

We are spirits, and we are living an experience in the matter. That is, it is a transitory phase. When we die, the detachment of the spirit from our material body immediately places us in the astral universe, with all its spheres of evolution and astral cities. The only difference between the spheres or dimensions is the vibratory frequencies: the more subtle the frequency, the more subtle the dimension, and the more evolved the beings inhabit it.

There is no separation for more expanded consciousness with a greater knowledge of the spiritual universe. There are no dichotomies. There is no heaven or hell.

Not a change of worlds, but a change in Frequencies

What exists are our vibrations that direct us to certain “astral cities”; no one is forgotten, eternally condemned, and everyone always has the chance they need to evolve and ascend.

Divine intelligence works with love and never gives just a single chance and eternal punishment to those who make mistakes. Just as the idea that there is only life on Earth is childish, so is the perception of the soul as eternal in the sense that it can only live once, in a world so complicated and terrible that it is impossible to live a whole life free from what some religions regard as sin.

Religion is not spirituality. Dogmas are of no interest to God and are of no use after physical death.

Are we able to be together forever with our families?

Certainly, death does not exist, it is an illusion, and the only thing that separates us from the dead is our lack of spiritual awareness, our ignorance.

We are spiritually blind. We have not developed our connection with “ALL THAT IS,” and we are deceived by some religions, which imprison us more than they free us. There is no separation, and all our deceased loved ones have always been within our reach, and we just can’t keep the contact we had in life because we haven’t woken up spiritually yet.

Love is the connection between all worlds and dimensions, maintaining the hearts beating together.

Just as the internet can connect a mother and child separated by continents, Love and Empathy can connect those separated by the physical and astral worlds. Everything will depend on the level of awareness about our condition to shoo away the idea of loss since we don’t lose anything or anyone.

Whoever leaves simply leaves a provisional body, which no longer serves and is even created to die.

So, just the idea that we go to the spiritual universe after death and have a normal “life” until the next incarnation or next evolutionary stage opens our minds to better deal with the passage we make and call death.

If we are lucky enough to wake up in life and develop our empathic faculties, we leave the field of Ideas, and we can get in touch with the spiritual world, even interacting with loved ones who are gone before we even die.

Of course, each case is different, and often, the encounter may not be immediate. For example, a person who dies at the age of 95 and goes searching for the mother, who died in childbirth, may not be lucky enough to find her immediately, as she may already be incarnated again.

There are also cases of people in much higher spheres, where spirits from astral cities are not allowed to enter. They cannot tune this “place” with their energy. But even in these cases, permission to visit will be given at some point, and the more evolved person comes to meet those in the denser spheres.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO OVERCOME DEATH?

THE MAHASAMADHI

It may seem absurd, but yes. There are levels of consciousness so evolved that they could intentionally overcome the common death process and leave the body at the right time.

A famous example of a great master who conquered death is Paramahansa Yogananda, a very enlightened being who brought light to his native India and the entire West.

After a fantastic life trajectory, Yogananda’s farewell is even more incredible. His final lesson for humanity was undoubtedly his departure. He used to show the powers of Yoga and the mind over death and bring about a greater understanding of what it is, in fact, to die and the illusion we create around death: our perishing.

Yogananda’s death process was carried out voluntarily and consciously. On March 7, 1952, invited to a banquet, Yogananda gave a speech and then recited the poem My India, raised his eyes to the point between the eyebrows, and left the body, attaining Mahasamadhi.

Mahasamadhi (the great and final samdhi) means intentionally leaving one’s body, an act that enlightened yogis who have attained the state of nirvikalpa samdhi can perform. It is different from the idea of death, the process of detachment that occurs with ordinary people involuntarily.

After leaving the body, another divine event involved Yogananda’s departure. His body was veiled in a spiritual retreat for approximately a month to allow a farewell between the master and his devotees. After 20 days, his body was still without any sign of decomposition. Forest Lawn Cemetery Director Harry T. Rowe sent Self-Realization Fellowship a letter expressing his admiration for the master’s condition. On March 27, there was absolutely no reason to say that his body would suffer any visible physical disintegration. For these reasons, we again state that the case of Paramhansa Yogananda is unique in our experience.”

Therefore, the idea of loss is very wrong. We can miss, of course, the way we miss friends who change cities or countries. But the suffering, despair, and distress that many feel can be avoided by understanding that not only can we communicate with our family members, but we will meet them again at some point in our evolutionary path.

More than that, enlightenment can free us from ordinary death and offer us a conscious passage, without pain or suffering, where we can let go of the physical body rather than die. We highly recommend his autobiography if you wish to learn more about master Yogananda.

And finally, there is only love. The only thing we take with us when we die knows no barriers. It is the strongest link between two souls; whoever is connected by it never separates. It never dies.
