The Karmic Number 13

Karmic debt, what is it?

Karmic Number 13

Being born on the 13th, regardless of the month, is a sign of strong energy for mystics, numerologists, and tarot readers. But why the number 13 is a Karmic number, and what is its Karmic debt?

As the name says, Karmic debt is a karmic “reward” inherited by people born on certain days of the month. On the 13th, it’s the karmic debt 13 that will rule the lives of these people.

But, despite the name “karmic,” do not panic. Generally, in their vast majority, those born on karmic days will have a full life and joys just like those born on other dates.

“Even chance meetings are the result of karma… Things in life are fated by our previous lives. That even in the smallest events, there’s no such thing as coincidence.” – Haruki Murakami, Kafka on the Shore

Karmic debt 13 is represented by a certain Major Arcana of the Tarot, in this case, the Death card. However, traditional tarot almost never means a physical death, the loss of a loved one or close person. Metaphorically, the card represents a process of transformation and often of rebirth.

It’s a card of transformative energy, for good or not, depending on the game and other factors, like personal energies.

CHARACTERISTICS OF THOSE BORN UNDER KARMIC DEBT 13

People born under karmic debt 13 have interesting characteristics. Among them stands out the willpower and attachment to work and professional achievement.

They are true workaholics. If, on the one hand, it is a great characteristic that evidences a brilliant professional career, on the other hand, it also brings a conflictual life in personal and family relationships — precisely because of the professional thirst.

People in karmic debt 13 end up neglecting fundamental aspects of life, leading to significant conflicts within the family and among friends. Another influence of the 13th day is that in tarot, Death means that this person, in past lives, took someone’s life or their own life, so in the cycle of reincarnations, they come back to purge their mistakes.

POSITIVE CHARACTERISTICS

“When you plant a seed of love, it is you that blossoms.” ~ Ma Jaya Sati Bhagavati, the 11 Karmic Spaces: Choosing Freedom from the Patterns that Bind You

Nothing about negative energies.

Even with so many not-so-good aspects of karmic debt 13, great aspects and other numerological and cabalistic factors influence those born under karmic debt 13. As mentioned above, work is a key part for those born in karmic debt 13, not only in the literal sense but also subjective — working for personal improvement and concerning others. Being born under a karmic debt 13 is not bad news. On the contrary, it’s a continuous effort to be in constant movement and creation.

Spiritual debt 13 represents and describes negligence/Death in all its conceptions.

Absolutely, in past lives, the person committed transgressions to the Natural Laws, such as:

They may have committed suicide or were a murderer, or they were negligent with their own life or the lives of others, or they hastened their own Death by succumbing to vices.

Whatever the case or cases were, they were committed consciously, not suffering any external influence.

Because of these transgressions, people can present some “obscurations” in their ways of living, becoming indifferent to what happens around them and tending toward personal, political, or existential crises.

People with karmic debt 13 should fight against the temptation to use shortcuts.

Many times, they will feel frustrated and exasperated, as their hard work often does not lead to any visible sign of success. But despite what they perceive, Progress is being made, and many times on many different levels.
