This is a day with karma 9, the number related to Mars: everything to do with blood, sex, anger, and passion. Watch your blood pressure if you are susceptible. The color is red, of course, the color of the root chakra, our vital force and physical needs.
Ruby is a corundum made up of aluminum oxide that can vary in color from pink to deep red.
Because of its color, this stone has always been associated with the sun and blood-related health issues.
Sanskrit has many different words for ruby, a very important healing stone in Ayurvedic medicine.
The main themes of this stone are impulsivity, masculine energy, and passion. All these themes have, of course, a beneficial and negative side. The idea is to turn impulsivity into positive intuition, random masculine energy into courage, and passion tempered with reason.
Ruby also has the theme of responsibility as a burden. It becomes a burden when someone is pressured and attached to their job or social status. They want to quit but often don’t have the courage to do so. Too much guilt, crisis of conscience. Ruby can help rebalance that.
