Whether it is salsa dancing, karate classes, or joining a local chapter of a political organization, there are numerous ways to be proactive in meeting people. You might just want more friends or support for your health and fitness goals, or maybe romance is on your mind.
The Feng shui angle on this is covered in great detail in my book, The Feng Shui Matrix, in a chapter titled “What’s Love Got to Do With It?”
Firstly, for the still uninitiated, Feng shui is a metaphysical practice that dates back thousands of years and is known for predicting how your immediate surroundings can affect almost every part of your life. Where you live and work can influence your social life in ways many could never imagine. Let us start with the obvious: if your home is an outright pig pen, you might be reluctant to invite people over, and if you did anyway, it wouldn’t put you in the most flattering light.
But Feng shui goes way beyond what you can see with your eyes or detect with your other senses. For example, some houses contain energies (based on when they were built) that are unseen but powerful and can sabotage your efforts to meet people or have an intimate relationship. Some house types make people lethargic, procrastinators, depressed, sickly, or argumentative. None of these traits are going to make it easier to get out and meet people or maintain relationships once you have them.
Within the full scope of a Feng shui evaluation, suggestions are made to alter the décor and sometimes the design of the space to balance these unseen energies. And it is also possible to enhance the inherently good energies too!
Here is a specific example for the year 2024. In everybody’s home in 2024, the annual (temporarily visiting) energy in the northwest location will be primed for romance and socializing. How do you figure out exactly where the northwest is?
It would help if you used a compass to determine what direction your house faces.
Then, you need to draw a to-scale floor plan sketch.
Then, you must divide your house plan into the real directional sectors. After identifying all the directional sectors, you will see the northwest boundaries in your home.
How can you benefit from this “4” star annual energy?
It would be best if you spent time in that area so hopefully, it is a room where you can.
You can enhance that energy further with a water fountain.
There are many ways to activate your love life and your social opportunities and develop meaningful relationships. This annual recommendation is just an example of one of them. Other remedies are more specific to your unique house and even your birth date.
Everyone has one or two permanent areas in their home that can be activated for romance and socializing.
Everyone has an annual star, moving in different directions each year, which can offer the same energy of attraction.
Everyone has their own personal directions for supporting and nurturing “likeability” by others.
Everyone has a special Romance Remedy Direction based on their Chinese Zodiac Sign.
Everyone has a sleeping direction, which could contribute to loneliness, and when you know what that direction is, you can avoid it!
Every house has locations that can be adjusted to reduce or eliminate energies that might otherwise sabotage easy relationships, such as arguments, misunderstandings, and betrayals.
