he Hermit is a self-propelled arcanum that assures us that we are our saviors and inspiration and that everything outside of ourselves cannot control our Destiny. As a very ‘magical’ arcane, The Hermit is the archetype of the inner Sun, the wisdom of the ages, much like the Kitsune, the mythical Asian Fox with Nine tails.
September will be a month with heavy vibes of Karmic cleansing, as we will have a supermoon, a partial Eclipse, the shifting energies of the Equinox, and some movements of generational tendencies, such as Pluto entering Aquarius. Pluto takes about 248 years to circle the Sun, so it only makes big moves a handful of times in a human lifetime. These rare shifts set the stage for major revolutions, changes, and transformations that ripple through generations. The last time Pluto was in Aquarius, from 1778 to 1798, the world saw some of the most pivotal moments in history, like the French Revolution and the Irish Uprising.
As the month carries the vibration of 9, we will experience a closing of minor personal cycles and the start of the last phase of the year.
Number nine evokes the final stage of gestation or transformation, which begins a new phase. As synonymous with empathy, the Hermit is a card that invites us to slow down and be more careful in presenting our ideas to others. The Hermit brings the wisdom acquired through experience, self-awareness, and conscious intention to the forefront. This pinnacle of our very busy and somewhat strange will be a test of our abilities, to test what we have learned from the spiritual lessons presented to us during the course of 2024, and what will be our choices and our new Karmic blueprint for the new year.
The Hermit arcana leads us to decisions that will determine the next steps in our lives. These decisions represent Integrity and our innermost values.
Beware that the month may seem tranquil and slow, but its intensity will be determined by all the Spiritual and cosmic events that will occur simultaneously in our Astral maps and our daily lives.
