The Energy Forecast February 2026 invites you to reconsider the very nature of light and dark.
The Collective Energy Forecast February 2026 – The Light and The Dark
Good morning, dear one.
We would like to talk to you about light and dark today.
Many of you tend to look only for the light. However, we would like to give you an example of how too much light would actually be unhealthy. Think about if the sun was shining all the time—24/7. The earth would be scorched. There would be no life. Everything would be dried up. But because the sun sets and the moon rises, there is this cooling effect that the darkness has. There is the collection of moisture in some areas that darkness allows. Some creatures can only live at night or exist in the dark. Think of the creatures in the very depths of the ocean—the microorganisms and all the life that lives in the dark and has its own phosphorescent light, because there is no other light around.
We see that for you, there is often resistance to the ebb and the flow, the light and the dark. But all is valid and important. The yin and yang symbolize both living together in harmony.
Sometimes you see animals fighting or children fighting, and there is resistance to the fight. But sometimes fire is needed—for energy to move, for things to change. Without fall, there would be no spring. Without winter, there would be no summer. The leaves do not say, “Woe is me” when they start to die and fall. They fall so that new leaves can grow. People die so that new beings and new life can come forward. There would be no life without death. The ups and the downs.
Yes, you can have a propensity to have it all.
Many people talk about Adam and Eve and how Eve ate from the Tree of Life or the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. The truth is: it was the knowledge of duality. It was where the split happened—the separation from oneness. Where it all existed, it existed simultaneously, so there really was no separation. There was no knowledge of right and wrong, good and bad. When the knowledge of duality came in, it became the illusion that there is light and dark, separate from one another.
But the yin and yang are one. They exist together, simultaneously.
True oneness comes when you recognize that there is no good and bad, no right and wrong, no light and dark. All of it is judgment. If you could look at everything as working out in your favor—which we say often, because it is—then even the challenges, even the stuck moments, even the hard or heavy things become teachers.
Even stubbing your toe. Even breaking your arm.
Adversity becomes a gift.
When you look back on a difficult time and realize how it changed you—how it helped you grow—you often find gratitude. That is the challenge: can you find gratitude now, even before the clarity has come?
This is key.
When the sun never sets, there is no life. Too much light scorches. That’s why Venus is so dry—too close to the sun. Even with some rotation, there is no relief. You need the night. You need the dark.
Everything is working out for your highest and greatest good.
So how can you turn your current challenge into something that is working for you, not against you?
We are not being heartless. We understand grief. We understand pain. But hindsight is 20/20. You know this. You’ve said it.
So what if you practiced gratitude now, in the midst of whatever darkness you’re facing?
Judgment cannot exist where gratitude lives. If you are grateful, judgment dissolves.
Some of you have dreams you call nightmares. What if those are reminders of how good you have it when you wake up? Not from a place of good or bad, but from appreciation.
The darkest moments come before the dawn. The ebb before the flow.
Hold out for the light—not because the light is better, but because the contrast shows you what you’ve been asking for. It shows you your desire. Your fire. Your willingness to rise.
Many who grew up with nothing become powerful creators because they knew the absence of something. That absence gave them drive, courage, tenacity.
Comfort doesn’t often lead to expansion.
Some of you are waiting for balance. But there is no single balance point. Life is not a perfect scale. Life is ebb and flow.
Even the enlightened experience up and down. Buddha sat under the Bodhi tree not to escape life, but to live it. To experience the full spectrum.
He walked. He lived. He felt. He died.
And so will you.
You came to experience duality so you could remember the truth of oneness.
You chose to forget so you could remember.
You chose to experience the absence so you could receive the having.
So today—and every day—remember: everything you are experiencing, you asked for. You designed it. Not to suffer. But to awaken. To remember that all is all. That nothing is separate.
That is true enlightenment.
And with that, we are complete.
Namaste.
