The Power of the Angels Cherubs

Cherubs

The cherubim are an important Angelic choir to the divine world, ranking second in the hierarchy of angels. According to biblical texts, the Cherubim Angels are responsible for protecting the gates of the Garden of Eden.

The Power of the Cherubim

When we think of Cherubs, we immediately imagine images of chubby and fluffy children with wings that are normally printed on Valentine’s Day cards. However, it is not known exactly how this image was created. In the Bible, these angels appear with some different descriptions, but never as a child. In some places, they are described as beings similar to men but with wings. In others, they appear as animal forms or even stranger looking, with four faces.

The Cherubs are Celestial beings that are just below the Seraphs in the Hierarchy of Angels and are also linked to the glorification of God’s greatness and His throne protection.

Hence, they are called Throne Angels.

In the sacred texts, they still appear as being the guardians of the Garden of Eden, with the function of preventing Adam and Eve from returning after the Fall. Because of this protection, in the past, images of Angels Cherubs were placed on the doors of temples and churches to protect them from evil spirits.

Representation of the Cherubim Angels

There is controversy about the representation of the Cherubs.

They are often presented with winged entities.

One of the most traditional images of cherubs, widespread during the Renaissance period, is cherubs having babies’ bodies, often chubby. This representation has become quite popular around the world.

It is believed, however, that the representation of cherubim may be quite different. Reports indicate that Cherub Angels are hybrid creatures with human parts and animal parts. They would have four heads altogether: one of a man, one of a lion, one of an ox, and one of an eagle.

This representation of the Cherubs is taken from the reading of Ezekiel 1. 5-8, which says:

“Each had four faces – that of a man, a lion, an ox, and an eagle – and each had four wings. In their appearance, the cherubim had the likeness of a man […]. These cherubs used two of their wings to fly and the other two to cover their bodies […]. Under their wings, the cherubim appeared to have the shape, or likeness, of a man’s hand”.

The big difference between the commonsense view and the biblical view of the Cherubs can be explained by an attempt to make these beings more popular.

Therefore, to be represented by the image of cute children and not by creatures with more than one head.

Origin of the word “cherub.”

Like many of the names of angels and other spirit beings in the Bible, the origin of the word cherub is uncertain. However, research indicates that the explanation may lie in the word “kherub,” which conveys the idea of Benediction or of being blessed.

Cherub is an angel considered to be God’s messenger and symbol of divine justice. According to the angelic order, the Cherubs are part of the first hierarchy, classified below the seraphs.

Many texts point to the Celestial Cherubs as mysterious beings. This association is largely made because of the Prince Regent of the Cherubs – Raziel, the angel of mysteries. Raziel’s very name dictates his character. Raziel means “The Secret of God” in Hebrew. He is a Cherub who protects humanity so that everyone feels positive and prosperous.

People Protected by the Cherubim

In addition to Raziel, the Cherub angels are also Haziel, Aladiah, Laoviah, Hahahiah, Yeslael, Mebabel, Hariel and Hekamiah. People ruled by these angels often share certain characteristics, such as people who always hope to achieve something positive. In addition, they are very emotional, with deep and stable feelings, so they are the ones who have long and sincere friendships and relationships.

They are loyal people, good confidants, affectionate, generous, and sometimes shy. They have a strong gift of forgiveness and understand the world in their own way, giving great value to the family.

Some studies indicate that Cherubs are related to the concept of guarding. For example, cherubs must protect the entrance to the Garden of Eden. This is perhaps the most accurate origin of the name, given the information extracted from biblical texts.

Recorders in the Celestial Archive of the Universe

Cherubs sometimes work with guardian angels, under the supervision of Archangel Metatron, recording every thought, word, and deed of history in the universe’s heavenly archive.

Nothing that has happened in the past is happening in the present or will happen in the future goes unnoticed by the angelic working teams that record the choices of each living being.

Cherub angels, like other angels, suffer when they need to record bad decisions but celebrate when they record good choices.

Cherub angels are magnificent beings, far more powerful than the beautiful, winged babies sometimes called cherubs in art.

People associate the two because Cherubs are known for their purity, as are children. Both can be messengers of God’s pure love in people’s lives.
