SPIRITUAL MEDITATION
Let’s ‘spirit talk’. Well today we will do some ‘real questioning’ . And let ‘spirit’ answer us.
Though all meditations aim at ‘inner connection’, this one is more like getting it straight from the
Inner GPS. Before you begin this kind of meditation first state clearly your ‘question’ to the spirit.
It could be something which has been bothering you, or a choice you need to make or maybe some straight ‘yes’ or ‘no’ question.
A number of people like to generate an ambiance contributing to meditation by lighting candles and joss sticks or/and playing tranquil music. A good tranquil environment will assist you and elevate your consciousness. Especially some soft music could really enliven this kind of meditation.
Osho once said: “To me Music and Meditation are two aspects of the same phenomenon and without music meditation lacks something; without music, meditation is a little dull, unalive. Without meditation, music is simply noise – harmonious, but noise. Without meditation, music is an entertainment; music and meditation should go together. That adds a new dimension to both. Both are enriched by it.”
Once the background is set just start deep breathing, don’t force it just let it happen naturally.
Enjoy the experience as you go more ‘IN’, the more you ‘zoom the clutter out’….and as you hit a higher transdental state or you can say ‘the universal consciousness’, you start feeling pure ‘bliss’. The union with the divine. Overwhelming as this experience it, everyone of you will have a different feel to it. Some may just forget where they are , and that’s ‘awesome’…..you have reached the ‘zero state’, ‘no being’…..in hindi we call it ‘Sadhna’, ‘Samadhi’…..and as you slowly come back to ‘conscious state’, you will be surprised the ‘answer’ is rightaway ‘ringing’ in your ears. Cool ! Try it , you will definitely love it !.
