Drink for Health

Here are some interesting facts. Scientists say that up to 60% of our bodies are made of water. The brain and heart are composed of 73% water, and the lungs are about 83% water. The skin contains 64% water, and even the bones are watery: 31%. Water helps digest our food so it can provide us with energy, it helps to transport waste out of the body, and it is important in controlling body temperature.

Many health minor health challenges become more acute due to dehydration. This means in order to healthier, we need to continually replenish our body water supplies.

The Practice:

Drink at least 8 glasses (64 ounces or 1.9 liters) of water today.
