3 Steps to Becoming the Great White Light

How Can We See the Great White Light?

We come into this world seeing divinity ‘out there somewhere.’ As we progress through towards enlightenment, we make some amazing changes. In seeking the Great White Light of our spirituality, it becomes evident that we are much closer to it than we thought. Consider these three steps of awareness as our divine senses expand.

1. I Stand Near the Light

When we are born, we feel we are totally separate from the light. We sense that God, the Universe, and Great Spirit are out there somewhere and we are really not included in that great vastness. And when we feel down, we go looking for Great Spirit, the Great White Light, to connect and spend time basking in the rays of that which is omnipresent.

But most of the time, we sense we remain incomplete; we feel disconnected from divinity. Thus, many of us only turn to the Great Spirit when we have challenges of some kind in our life. Sometimes, we long to hear the word come to us. However, all we hear is either silence or static, because we have too much chatter going on in our mind.

2. The Light Resides Within Me

Next, we have a great vibratory expansion that takes place. This leads us to understand that what we call the light is not ‘out there,’ but lives within. This usually happens because we have been meditating, perhaps going out into nature, and have done countless hours of contemplation. Thus, we start to have greater reverence for all that exists, because we know “We are One with Everything”.

Before this realization, we felt separate from creation. Now, we are connected to all sentient beings, every rock, every flower, and everything else. Plus, we understand that everything has a special vibration. We grasp that everything is alive, and everything has consciousness. And so our place of worship becomes nature itself, as we bask in the vastness of creation.

3. I Am the Light

Later, we have a powerful expansion of vibration that takes place. This bursts forth from our chakras. Because of this internal connection, we finally understand that the light that we thought lived ‘out there,’ is within us. It does not just reside there, but also that we ‘are’ that light.

This Great White Light is the energetic essence of everything and everyone. Thus, we finally ‘become’ the very Great White Light that we seek. We are the words, “I am that I am.” In doing so, we no longer look outward, only inward, for answers of any kind.

Because we embody the light, we also find the answers to the spiritual knowledge we seek. This is what the great mystics of the world mean when they talk about the Great or Cosmic Awakening. It is this expansion of spirit that travels through the multiverse to the point of infinity and back to us.

Getting to the Point of Spiritual Realization

Some people come to our world fully realized as the “I am,” persons such as Jesus, Buddha, and Krishna and many more avatars. Others come to this world knowing the light resides within them. They go on to become great healers and people who make a difference in the world. The majority of us slowly progress from one stage to the next.

Eventually, everyone reaches this pinnacle of amazing acceptance and truth. Beyond understanding, knowledge, and grace, the Great White Light connects when we let go and know that everything is as it should be. Thus, we see the good in all things, and like a moth to a flame, each of us who gathers around the Great White Light are healed.
