Cheri Carandanis is an abstract painter based in Portland, Oregon, and a former critical care flight nurse. After a brain injury ended her 25-year nursing career, through faith, discomfort, and learning to stay present, she found her way back to a new life and identity through art. Her work helped her transform wreckage into wonder, and she shares that process openly through her studio practice and storytelling.
