Erica Bassani – Women in Love with the Divine

Erica Bassani – Women in Love with the Divine

Air Date – Thursday, 08 October 2026

After years of Buddhist practice, including a year living in a monastery, my guest this week on Vox Novus, Erica Bassani, began looking for guidance that spoke to her experience as a woman. Her encounters explored spiritual authority within patriarchal traditions and the everyday questions that remain alongside devotion: how to listen to the body, live with uncertainty, and stay open through loss and change.

Erica Bassani is the founder of Women Awakening Project, which shares women’s spiritual wisdom through interviews, writing, and contemplative gatherings. She also created Awakening Softness, a space for embodied presence and inner listening. In interviews, she explores why women’s voices in spiritual leadership matter and how tenderness can inform the ways we respond to the world.

Her website is https://www.womenawakeningproject.com/, and she joins me this week to share her path of discovery and book, Women in Love with the Divine: A Seeker’s Exploration of Faith, Practice, and Feminine Power.
