Blake Bauer: You Were Not Born To Suffer logically outlines how most depression and disease is the result of our never learning how to love, value or express ourselves as children. Even in cases where children struggle with a mental or physical illness that appears out of their control, this work non-judgmentally asserts a perspective that says, beyond environmental and dietary toxins, even early childhood and often unexplained illnesses are connected to the suffering and underlying lack of self-love within the parents at the time of conception and while in utero. With this in mind, You Were Not Born To Suffer demonstrates how our suffering in all manifestations is a cry from our soul or subconscious asking that we care for, be kind toward, and honor ourselves NOW as the most effective way to heal and move forward.
