Learning to Praise the Moment

When an actor or actress wins an award you can feel the joy and the love. They usually start off saying something in the contents of how all the hard work and sacrifice was truly worth it. They give thanks to all those how help them get there in life, they have gotten to a moment that has meaning and were they can see the success. At that moment the world is perfect, they can clearly see the reason for it all. Why people suffer, why there is pain, why we are born. Not because they won an award or people are praising them, but because of the sacrifice that is needed to acquire a moment.  A mother comes to the same understanding when she gives birth. At that moment, she realizes all the pain and hard ache through the ages is the only reason why I am able to give birth to this bundle of joy. Doesn’t matter if the child might one day be a saint or a sinner, at the moment the child is love. All that has happen from the beginning of time till now is the only reason why that mother is holding love.

People tend to shun the world and feel it is a horrible place when they are down and out. When we go through the worst of it that is when we see the worst of the world and believe it is going to hell.  It usually takes a moment to bring clarity to it all, because of the distracting pain we forget the reason why. That’s why it is good to remember the moments for every moment are moments that can be seen as beautiful and meaningful. The Utopia concept is one of the main reasons people tend to see the world as a terrible place.  Yes, the world can be better but at this moment it is still unbelievable, some can’t see that because they are living for a utopia instead of in one. We are living in a utopia of the past and we should give thanks to those that got us here by enjoying the moment, by doing that we can help create a better utopia for tomorrow.
