Black Pepper — Black pepper is very common in Chai Tea giving it a little spice. Black pepper helps with indigestion, flatulence, and works to detox the body and get rid of excess fluids… and also helps with nasal and lung congestion.
Anise, Fennel, and Caraway are sometimes used in Chai Tea and are great for soothing the stomach, helping to get rid of nausea and indigestion. Works wonders to freshen your breath and also contains lots of great minerals , electrolytes, B vitamins, and great antioxidants helping to prevent degenerative disease. And these three seeds all have a very soothing, relaxing, calming effect on the body, making it great for stress and anxiety.
And there may be even more great herbs and spices in some Chai Teas.
Chai Tea is also usually made with milk, soy milk, almond milk, or any other kind of milk and honey, stevia, or any other sweetener that you like. Thus you also get the benefits of protein from the milk, and a boost of energy from the honey, plus the great allergy preventing capabilities of honey.
Lots of people are switching from coffee to Chai Tea because of all the great health benefits associated with Chai Tea.
A warm cup of Chai Tea is great in the morning or you can make a frozen Chai Tea for those hot days.
Try some Chai Tea… you might be missing out on something that tastes great and works wonders for your body.
