Feng Shui from the Inside, Out – Day 4

The power of the Entry position is the power of the first impression; the power of a Point of Consciousness – a place where someone may be spending a large amount of time, such as a desk, a bed, couch or chair – is the power of time itself and the constant exposure it brings to the space viewed from that particular vantage point. Most rooms will require overlapping baguas.

Generally, the purview of each of the eight sections of the bagua is about 1/3 of a flat wall or 1/3 of each wall when the area takes in a corner of a room.

Life Path : relates to the life itself as well as to the profession, job or career of the person/s occupying the space.

Recognition : relates not just to being acknowledged as existing but to being ‘known’ or appreciated as well, though not necessarily in a public way.

Relationships : all types of relationships are covered here, personal, professional, casual, intimate, familial.

Recreation / Rejuvenation : often associated with vacations and/or retirement, this area of the bagua has more to do with making sure that work is balanced with appropriate rest and time for pleasure.
