Mind/Body Weight Loss – Day 15
So often in weight loss we live in fear that we are one choice away from ruining everything. So we give away our power by following the latest fad diet in hopes that they have the answer. But if you can embrace your weaknesses, understand what you are feeding and face your fears that lack of self-efficacy begins to fade away. You realize that it is not a magic formula or that perfect diet that allows you to reach your goals. It is a deep understanding of who you are and want you want. You are not floating aimlessly through life, you have purpose and meaning and most importantly love and compassion for yourself. You create the space for love to flourish.
Fear and love cannot exist in the same space. Once you face your fears you can see that we are all just humans working through our own stuff and at the bottom of it all, we just want to be loved and connected.
Your Challenge:
Complete this journal entry and let’s transcend your fear into love. Your weight loss journey must be a love story. Never operate from a place where you say, “When I lose the weight, I will be worthy of love”. Instead when you move from love, you will want to make the choices that lead to weight loss. Flip the equation around. Love first, love always and then your preferences and actions will shift as you bring your mind, your heart and your values into alignment.
