But now we need some new roles: we need a designer class, for designing technologies, economies, and social systems. We need a teaching class, to teach others the architecture of spirit, of the soul, to pass on the world’s wisdom and spiritual traditions, to create an awakening of consciousness. We need healers to heal the wounds.

And we still need producers— who can implement these designs, who can manifest something from the unseen to the manifest.

But we need to not just solve today’s problems, but realize we are being asked to design as consciously as possible, our future civilization. But this doesn’t mean it happens by will and intellect alone, for I believe there is guidance from a variety of sources if we quiet ourselves enough to listen.

What sources? 

Higher self, intuition, spirit, divine mind, coincidence, creativity. 

And what do you see that we need to do to heal this situation? 

First, we need a map to guide us through the journey. In my book, I use the map of the chakra system—the continuum between heaven and earth, a system I have worked with extensively in my life.

We need to see it as an initiation that will require that we rise to our very best. Because calamity brings out the best and the worst in humanity.

We need to not just solve problems, but also heal the underlying wounds that caused them. We need to reclaim a sense of the sacred. In other parts of the world, especially the East, the sacred is part of everyday life. It keeps you in touch with what’s important, what matters.
