Oprah sits down with Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz who shares the story of his inspiring rise from the housing projects in Brooklyn, New York, to his current role as a global thought leader and innovator.  Schultz will share the leadership lessons he’s learned while guiding this iconic brand for more than two decades. Reflecting on his #1 New York Times bestseller, “Onward: How Starbucks Fought for Its Life Without Losing Its Soul,” Schultz recounts the story behind the global coffee company’s comeback in 2008, when he decided to return as the CEO to help restore Starbucks’ core values and mission to inspire and nurture the human spirit – one person, one cup, and one neighborhood at a time.

November 24- “Oprah & Francine and David Wheeler: After Sandy Hook”

Francine and David Wheeler tragically lost their 6-year-old son Benjamin in the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in December 2012.  With astounding grace, spirit and wisdom, the Wheelers sit down with Oprah to share how suffering can be a catalyst for transformation and how their loss has led them on a journey to inspire both social and legislative change, reminding us that nothing is guaranteed so we must make the most of the present moment. They also share what they have discovered about the significance of genuine listening and mutual understanding between people of different values.
