Jacky Newcomb – Messages from Heaven
Most of what occurred in the dream afterwards, I forgot until fairly recently. Then the whole experience came flooding back. He’d asked me, “Would you like to write books about experiences like this one? …Share stories with people who come back to show their loved ones that physical death isn’t the end.” I guess I said yes!
Many years later my Dad’s brother, Eric, passed away and he visited my three sisters and I in similar dream visitations. (This is when the body is asleep but the mind is lucid and aware). Eric opened the way for us so that by the time Dad passed on, we were all experienced in receiving messages from heaven. My job, I felt, was to gather the family stories and write about them in the book. All of my books contain true-life stories; experiences from a variety of people of all ages with different religious backgrounds (including those with no religious affiliation whatsoever, and from different countries and cultures around the world.
OMTimes: Are you afraid when you receive contact from those who have crossed over?
Jacky Newcomb: I never have been afraid. Contact has always been from people I have loved. Love knows no boundaries and the experiences have brought me love, comfort and sometimes information about the future.
OMTimes: Who are the Messages from Heaven cards for?
Jacky Newcomb: The Messages from Heaven cards are for everyone who has ever lost someone they love. The contact helps to bridge the divide a little. One of the things we miss when loved-ones cross over is the advice and guidance they would share with us when they were alive. I often wondered, what would Dad have said to that? Selecting the cards is like having their thoughts in your head. When you know someone well, you instinctively know what they might have thought about a certain situation or person, the cards remind you of their loving support and guidance.
