Jill V. Mangino: Can you share information about your Pilgrimage on December 11th -December 22nd this year?
Sergio Magaña: In the spiritual world where a lot of people take the teaching for energetic beings or invent their teachers, I have 3 that are alive, and that represent long lineages of thousands of years in Mexico, so the pilgrimage that I am holding, is the way to share with the world my teachers, to experience the tradition in the place that was created, to dance with the keepers in Mexico, to experience sweeting lodges, sowing of name, healing lessons, dreaming lessons for the ones that have kept the tradition alive, and that we are I think the only group clearly open to people from abroad.
About Sergio Magaña
Sergio Magaña, “Ocelocoyotl”, is a well-known and respected healer in Mexico City, who has been initiated into the 5,000-year-old Toltec or Toltecayotl lineage of Mesoamerica. The tradition began with the ancient Chichimecas, who transmitted it to Teotihuacans and then Toltecs, who then taught both the Mayans and Aztecs. Sergio is also trained in the Tol shamanic lineage (nahualism) of dreaming knowledge that has been passed on in the oral tradition without interruption from master to student for over 1,460 years.
