Lisa Garr: Becoming Aware
OMTimes: Did you feel that you could make a choice to come back in your body or to stay in other realm?
Lisa Garr: There wasn’t an option, no. It felt like a pulling, an inviting feeling and it was ‘just being’. It was the most pure state of being. I imagine that when we die, this is what happens – that you go to this alluring state of being, and it’s so peaceful! All the thoughts, chatter, busyness and loudness, it’s all gone. That is what I loved.
But I kept going back in my body and felt that I was airlifted. This is also when I learned that there is so much more, and we’re so much bigger than our complaints, than our little stuck places in life. Although I love the physical body, I do know now that they’re just temporary, slowdown matter for the vastness that we truly are and that we can visit at any time if you just know it. If you just get it that you don’t need to have an accident like I had, that we can go through visualization and that we can heal parts of our body. We can heal our mindset around those parts of our body.
Somebody told me once that you can’t physically slow down time, you can only change your perception of time. You can come and go from those dimensions too. You don’t have to die necessarily to get there.
For me it was the most incredible invitation to death that I have ever experienced to this day. If I were to die, I know that I am still present, that I am still accessible and that those who have crossed over are, as long as you understand how to invite them back to the vibration we’re in now. I have seen it happen so many times, where people have told me how they’ve connected with their lost loved ones and the way that they have, have been miracles. I do believe that the spirit can just slow down and connect as long as the vibrational match happens.

You will then discover that you are beautiful and that all the answers already lie inside of you.
