From 1999 to 2010, the death by suicide rate for 35-64 year olds increased by 30% worldwide. The book is inspired by Steffany Barton’s experience as a young teen and member of a fundamental Baptist youth group. Steffany explains how she experienced a tragedy unimaginable when a friend committed suicide and she found herself seeking answers, longing to understand why. She began a quest through traditional religion, the medical community and then spiritualism and discovered that all souls find welcome rest on the Other Side. Rather than emphasizing pain, the book inspires healing, awakening, and guidance for cultivating new beginnings for those left behind. Empowering, encouraging, and uplifting, the author affirms the enduring connections we share in love, life, and beyond.
