Ratatouille: Remy Inspired Style
Have you tried the French vegetable dish, Ratatouille?
Ratatouille Inspired by the Disney Character Remy
Ratatouille is famous Provençal Vegetarian French dish that intrigued many of us when it was portrayed in a Disney movie with the same name. The movie is the story of Remy is an idealistic and ambitious young rat, gifted with highly developed senses of taste and smell. Inspired by his idol, the recently deceased chef Auguste Gusteau, Remy dreams of becoming a cook himself. One of the biggest challenges for the filmmakers was creating computer-generated images of food that would appear delicious. Gourmet chefs in both the U.S. and France were consulted and the animators attended cooking classes at San Francisco-area culinary schools to understand the workings of a commercial kitchen.
We are bringing to you the best cured Cruelty-free recipes to inspire your taste buds and a taste of Vegetarian/ Vegan Living to your life. The Ratatouille recipe today comes from the video blogger Fablunch and is very close to the version that is shown in the movie. Some variations skip the roasted pepper sauce, but in my opinion, it’s the best part!!!
