A Universal Truth – Love Never Dies

love never dies OMTimes

Neither death nor time can ever take away the love we have for each other. So, in reality, love never dies – we take that with us – as well as all our memories.

Love Never Dies

One of my favorite sayings is: “Love Never Dies” and this rang true the other evening during one of my monthly “Gatherings,” where some of those attending hear from their loved ones through my Mediumship. I never know who is going to get a message because it’s really not up to me or in my control. The Spirit People are the ones who make themselves known, and I am just the middleman who interprets what they are sending me and then delivers the message to the correct recipient. These evenings are always special! I never know what’s going to happen or who is going to come through. There’s always laughter as well as tears, and with this in mind, I would like to share some details from a message a gentleman received from his wife who passed six years earlier.

It was a beautiful spring evening and as the event was about to end, I knew I had one more message that had to be delivered! I was pulled to the back of the room to the very last row and was drawn to a group of four people that were all sitting together. I became aware of a woman who passed that was trying to reach out to her whole family that included her husband. As they all sat there acknowledging names, dates, careers, and other evidence and validations, I became more aware of the true reason she needed to reach her husband. She wanted to let him know that she knew that he had met someone else and that she also knew they were going to move and live together. The husband began to weep and I could see his soul reaching right back to his wife on the Other-Side. He confirmed that he was just about to sell his house so he could move in with his girlfriend and take their relationship to the next level.

Many times partners and spouses do come back to acknowledge that they’re aware the person here has met someone else, and most of the time they encourage it. I frequently tell my audiences: “We are the ones that are still here and that our loved one wants us to move on and enjoy our lives until we see them again. The ones that are left behind here oftentimes feel guilty or that somehow they are cheating on their spouse or partner that has passed. No one will replace the person you have loved your whole life – it will just be different.”

Keeping this in mind, I’ve often said that messages can be significant to others in the audience, and this was indeed the case during this event. Sitting directly in front of the man I was giving the reading to was another gentleman who had just lost his wife 4 months ago. His wife was an acquaintance of mine, and I could see how deeply affected he was as he listened to the information being given from Spirit. It’s obviously too early for him to even consider another partner coming into his life, but maybe he needed to hear that his wife would encourage him to find someone else when the time is right. Was it a coincidence that he decided to attend this event and for both of them to sit in the same section?

After the event, the man who received the reading walked up to me with the tears still in eyes, but yet a smile on his face and said: “I really needed to hear this tonight.” As he was leaving he reached out and gave me a hug and I could feel him relax in knowing his wife still loves him and wants him to be happy. Her message from the Other-Side confirmed to him that she also knows how much he cherished and loved her and always will. Neither death nor time can ever take away the love we have for each other. So, in reality, love never dies – we take that with us – as well as all our memories.

I was still thinking about that special message on the drive home, as well as the others that came through during this “Gathering.” It made me happy knowing I could help and be the bridge between one world and the next, but at the same time I always remind myself that I’m just the medium; the credit has to go to those on the Other-Side because they did most of the work!

John’s Lesson

Is there someone in your life you haven’t spoken to in a while? Is there an argument that was never healed? Sometimes there’s a rift in a family or with a friend that’s been going on for so long that those involved have forgotten why they were even mad. If you haven’t spoken to a person in a long time, it can also be hard to rekindle that relationship because you don’t know what to say.

Try sending a card and asking: “Can we get past this and try to work it out?” At least you tried, and hopefully, you’ll have no regrets.

Life is too short, and what we do here is what matters most. Appreciate the people that are in your life, tell them how much you love them, forgive them or ask for forgiveness, visit with them, hold them, and both laugh and cry with them for you have to always remember: We are all connected and always will be.

  • Thank you for sharing John. It is always comforting to hear that my loved ones are still around me… Although I would rather have them with me in person, having them near in spirit is a comfort. Many blessings to you
