The energies and directions for the month of August are evolving around an age old concept, ”Faith.” In these accelerated, changing, transitional times, the concept of faith, whatever that means to you, is the bulwark of August. Know it, integrate it, trust it. This is the month, like for your foundations last month, where you either change it, strengthen it or lose the old and grasp the new. Faith is one of those words that can conjure up old time religion, ancient mysteries or some mysticism. It can also conjure up a lot of old programming and potentially lots of limitations, mostly because “faith” has been associated with religion – not just faith in God, but faith in “our” God, not “your” God. While that is, and has been, important for some, this month of August is a time to not only truly experience your own faith, but to expand it – to expand your consciousness of faith! It needs to be spoken of out loud to others…whatever your “faith” is…you need to let it out! Now is the time…
As the scientific and materialistic world views displaced a lot of religious belief systems for many pragmatic folks, so went with that displacement the idea of faith. But, what is “Faith?” Faith is defined as first, confidence or trust in a person or thing: faith in another’s ability; second, belief that is not based on proof: He had faith that the hypothesis would be substantiated by fact and last, but not least, belief in god or in the doctrines or teachings of a religion: the firm faith of the Pilgrims. The changing realities are causing much consternation about whether there really is anything called faith anymore, and yet this month you are guided and directed by this Oracle that it is time to explore yours. If you have none, it is a time to explore what erased it, why do you not trust or allow it to support you – know this: we are all going to need faith in the coming days.
It is hard to really say out loud, here in this Oracle, the knowingness I feel for why this questioning and expansion of our faith is what we are to focus on this month of August. But, if you didn’t know it, there are some big things going on this month. The planet Mercury is retrograde from August 2nd to August 26th (a period that happens approximately three times a year, where the planet Mercury is in apparent backward motion from the perspective of the Earth, and where we are to learn, correct our mistakes or wrong assumptions, rethink, redo, and in general catch up with stuff because prior to Mercury going retrograde, we are all usually barreling forward with what we are doing and not learning, redoing, rethinking, just rolling). This is generally a pretty disruptive time too. At the same time, in this transition year of 2011, we are growing at a rapid rate under the Ninth and final Wave of the Mayan calendar (www.MayanNinthWave.com and www.Calleman.com). The timeframe of which, the month of August encompasses is called the 5th Night which is the “Destruction” phase of this final wave. What I call a “pruning” period using a nature analogy: The Ninth Wave really began in March with the Japanese earthquake, but the analogy is as follows: first we seed (First Day and Night), then it germinated (Second Day), then it reacted (Second Night), sprouting then took place (Third Day and Night), then leaf formation (Fourth Day and Night), then budding (Fifth Day), then the pruning or destruction (Fifth Night), then comes the flowering (Sixth Day and Night) and then, at last, fruition (Day Seven – done – October 28, 2011) (See the Mayan Ninth Wave website cited above for exact dates) …this is what we are precisely experiencing in human consciousness evolution.
