Yuval Ron is an internationally renowned World Music artist, composer, peace activist and educator who is actively involved in creating musical bridges among people of different faiths.
About the Guest Yuval Ron
An Oscar Winning Composer, Grammy Nominated Musician, Lecturer, Peace Activist, and Author, Yuval Ron’s multi-faith ensemble performs “Peace Tours” around the world, bonding people of all nationalities and religions. Yuval’s career includes work in film, television, radio, dance, theater, and teaching at leading universities.
To date, he has produced more than 20 CD’s and over 100 musical compositions. Among his many honors, Yuval received the Los Angeles Treasure Award in 2004; He composed the score for the musical West Bank Story, which won an Oscar in 2006, and he performed for His Holiness the Dalai Lama at the “Seeds of Compassion” festival in 2008, and for Pir Zia Inayat Khan (head of the Sufi Order International).
Yuval has collaborated with neuroscientists to explore the connection between sound and the brain and lectured at numerous schools including Yale, John Hopkins, UCLA, and MIT.
His book Divine Attunement: Music as a path to Wisdom, won the Gold Medal Award for Best Spirituality Book at the Indie Book Awards 2015.
