The Week Ahead According to the Stars

Aired Monday, 4 April 2016, 9:00 PM ET

With Venus and Mercury both switching signs plus a New Moon and lots of positive astrological vibes, it’s potentially the best week so far this year for seizing new and exciting opportunities.

Join Astrologer, Kelli Fox to find out how Mercury moving into Taurus, Venus into Aries and the Aries New Moon will be influencing each of the Sun signs. This time of year is all about starting afresh – with the recent Spring Equinox, Solar Eclipse and planets changing signs and directions now is the time for action!

The Aries New Moon could be the force behind some edgy impulses that need release. Having just completed a restive period, you’re ready for something exciting and new to begin. Brilliant schemes may be circulating in your brain. At the very least, many of us are ready for something to happen. With the New Moon in Aries, the first sign of the zodiac, this lunar phase marks energetic beginnings and fresh starts.

While Venus is in Aries, your love life could be quite exciting over the coming weeks! You might find yourself being bolder than usual, taking risks and acting on your ardent impulses. Romance can be steamy and you’re open to experimentation — just watch out for getting carried away by your passions and be sure to take care of yourself.

How about communication planet, Mercury, moving into Taurus? Your mind might operate slowly and methodically over the next few weeks. You may find yourself taking your time to thoroughly consider an idea, thinking through all the details before making up your mind. You’re likely to have great mental focus, able to concentrate on the task at hand and see it all the way to the end but this may go against the Aries energy of wanting to jump straight in.

Find out how to make the most of these conflicting planetary influences over the next few weeks…
