Hobble Inn is the passion of Mary Skelton. A Vermont native, Mary has spent her life caring for other people. As a homemaker, wife, and mother she honed her ability to make others comfortable and welcome. Having grown up in Stowe, Vermont Mary is the person to guide you to the perfect dinner or the best nature trail of her home town. As an all around nice lady, she maintains a cheerful demeanor and a wicked ability to pun. In 2010, Mary moved back into her childhood home in Stowe Village to care for her aging parents. When “The Folks,” Clem and Anne Curtis passed away two years later past the age of 100, Mary turned her attention to the house she had loved since childhood. She quickly brushed back the years and is now pleased to offer this gem, her home, to out-of-towners looking for a quiet New England vacation.
