Carl Jung, the father of analytical psychology, once said, “Often the hands will solve a mystery that the intellect struggled with in vain.”

Novelist Kurt Vonnegut Jr. wrote, “About astrology and palmistry: they are good because they make people vivid and full of possibilities. They are communism at its best. Everybody has a birthday and almost everybody has a palm.”

We know that we may hold with our hands but do we know what our hands hold? Is there a way that each of us may examine the myriad of shapes and lines that adorn our palms and gain insight into our paths and futures?

My guest this week on Destination Unlimited, Helene Saucedo, says we can and has crafted a kit and guidebook to do just that.

Helene Saucedo is a hand analyst who provides private readings out of her vintage camper and travels the country with her craft, lecturing and reading at shops and at events such as Bonnaroo, Dirty South Yoga Festival and the LumiSummit. She also has a background in design and art direction, with more than ten years experience working with such brands as Turner Broadcasting, Cartoon Network Latin America, Steve Madden, and Macmillan Publishers. Her website is handfulofstarsreading.com. She lives in Atlanta, Georgia, and joins me this week to discuss her brand new palmistry kit and guidebook, Handful of Stars: A Palmistry Guidebook and Hand-Printing Kit.
