Aired Thursday, December 5, 2019 at 6:00 AM PST / 9:00 AM EST
Since 1994 James D’Angelo, author of The Healing Power of the Human Voice and Seed Sounds for Tuning the Chakras, has been leading his Soundspirit workshops and courses in the UK and the USA, empowering people to use their voices therapeutically for self-transformation. Considered a leading authority in the field of sound healing, he has developed his own unique approach to toning and re-tuning the chakra system in which both external and internal vocal sounds are intoned. He provides his participants with a variety of rituals for attaining true sound health including natural sound rituals, Taoist sounds for the organs, Biosonic tuning forks and discovering your fundamental tone. Join Voice Master Kara Johnstad and author, musician, composer James D’Angelo for a conversation on how the vibrations of the human voice applied consciously can create harmony and wholeness of body, mind and spirit. Learn about the bio-energetic field of the body and that we are a great network of frequency and vibrations that fluctuate. When these vibrations become weakened and get out of tune, disease can be the result. Through the focused resonant use of VOICE we have the capacity to alter our vibrations and our state of consciousness to create a sound healthy body.
