In 1980, the Alan Parsons Project released an album called “The Turn of a Friendly Card.” The title track, with lyrics by Parsons and Eric Woolfson, said,
“There are unsmiling faces in fetters and chains
On a wheel in perpetual motion
Who belong to all races and answer all names
With no show of an outward emotion
And they think it will make their lives easier
But the doorway before them is barred
And the game never ends when your whole world depends
On the turn of a friendly card.”
Most of us are familiar with the mystical use of card decks including Tarot, but my guest this week on Destination Unlimited, Stephanie Snow, says, “The modern Playing Card deck is an ancient and metaphysical calendar” and uses the deck to read for her clients.
Stephanie Snow is a Holistic Practitioner specializing in Reiki, Emotional Clearing and Card Readings based on the esoteric secrets within the modern playing card deck. With a background in acting and theater, she has been passionate about the human experience and spirituality from a young age. She also brings her experience as a Therapeutic Horseback Riding Instructor to healing work with animals and humans.
