Lower Ego Vulnerability and Difficulty Dealing with Adversity

This week on It’s Your Ego—Stupid!, Dr. Nick will be looking intensely into the mirror of our ability to deal with the adversity that we are all confronted with owing to the imperfection of our humanity. These include the various failures, losses, and mistakes we are all called upon to manage, from time to time. Life success is often a function of how well we get up and learn from them after having been knocked down by them. During the show I’ll be looking at symptoms, reflections of ego stupidity, and the impact on spiritual wellness which occurs when a person is being affected by lower ego vulnerability energy, in their encounters with adversity. I’ll also be looking at specific ego insights needed to transform lower ego vulnerability into a healthier and more balanced place.

Unfortunately, for those with lower ego vulnerability, they have a difficult time recognizing, taking responsibility, and looking for solutions to the problems they encounter. This is often due to the weak emotional cues, particularly guilt, they fail to experience. That can help them to see more clearly what has taken place, and their role in it. Thus, contributing to a “ripple effect” in which they have difficulty learning from their failures, losses, and mistakes; recognizing the harmful impact these can be having upon others; and difficulty receiving constructive criticism from those who are trying to help them. Help them to in dealing with preventable failures, losses, and mistakes, which they tend to repeat over and over again. Roles they may find their way into living, until they awaken to their ego energy, include the Sociopath, the Sadist, and the Inattentive-Person.
