About the Speakers

Laura Uplinger serves as the Vice-President of the Brazilian National Association for Prenatal Education (ANEP Brazil). With over 40 years of experience in prenatal and perinatal conscious parenting, Laura, a Brazilian-American and French-educated professional in applied psychology, combines her diverse cultural background in her role as a renowned speaker. She highlights the importance of the inner lives of pregnant women at birth-related events across the Americas and Europe. Laura’s audience ranges from the general public to specific groups such as teenagers, university students, pregnant couples, and birth professionals. In Brazil, her work extends from counseling pregnant women in diverse settings, from slums to affluent areas and high-risk maternity wards, demonstrating her commitment to prenatal education across all strata of society.

Dr. Mafe Cavinatois a Brazilian physician, who got interested in homeopathy while still in medical school because of the enthusiasm and joy of the homeopathic doctors that simply filled the room! By getting in touch with the concept of health and disease offered by homeopathy, she chose to study this field of healing. In her practice, she addresses the physical, sensorial, intellectual and emotional spheres; after having joined ANEP Brazil, she started encompassing the conception, gestation and birth experiences of her patients.
