What do the planets have in store for us this week?

There’s a few planetary shifts happening this week. The first is Mars moving into Cancer where it will be until July 20th. This isn’t the most comfortable placement for Mars, but not completely terrible. Mars is the planet of action, the will to do, aggression, physical exertion, and the libido. Cancer is a reactive sign of nurturing, family, protection, imagination, motherhood, and origins.

Next up is Venus moving into Taurus on Tuesday. Under the influence of Venus in Taurus, and depending on how this transit affects your birth chart, you could find yourself indulging in the sensual side of life. You’re likely to take your time expressing warmth and affection toward your sweetie, and will likewise revel in receiving physical contact.

Next up is a Full Moon in Sagittarius. During the Sagittarius Full Moon, you’re likely to be in a jolly mood that makes you feel truly alive. Recent steps you have taken to add some zest to your life are working. No longer plagued by feelings of boredom, you are more able to enjoy getting up when the promise of a fun day lies ahead of you. Give yourself a pat on the back for taking charge of your own well-being.

After a four month retrograde period, Jupiter planet of luck and good fortune turns direct. When Jupiter is retrograde in Libra, from February 5 through June 9, 2017, that expansive energy turns inward. During this phase, we are challenged to take stock of our beliefs and ideals, and be honest with ourselves about whether the lives we’re living truly match our most cherished beliefs.
