Marisa Rowe is the mother of four daughters and has spent the last 5 years fostering. She specialises in ‘Parent & Child Placements’ where a family, whose custody of their children is under threat, lives with a foster family. In this safe and nurturing home environment the parents have an opportunity to develop the skills necessary to meet their children’s needs. Marisa believes their non-judgemental ‘clean-slate’ approach to fostering enables anyone who joins their family space to feel empowered ‘to do their best’ regardless of the outcome which is always unknown. Marisa is currently developing a ‘Parent & Child Placement’ resource to help others carry out this unique fostering role.
