The lessons learned in high school are often more than higher education. They involve socialization, adulting, personal responsibility, and personal values. What happens when two friends take divergent paths, and a tragedy awakens one to the truth of these values.
My guest this week on Vox Novus, Jeffery Young, shares the fictionalized story of two young women he attended high school with and the tragedy that led to transformation. Jeffery Young is an award-winning writer and Army veteran whose multi-faceted career has included work in the culinary field and the newspaper industry. Jeffery holds degrees in communications and criminal justice, and his work with AmVets California garnered interest from President Ronald Regan. He is also the author of the book, Tales Out of Church, which is a collection of short stories told by an over-imaginative Catholic priest. He joins me this week to share his heart warming and redemptive book, Beth: Legacy of Love.
