It comes as no surprise that women flexed their formidable muscles when needed most, representing a disproportionate number of essential workers during the darkest days of the coronavirus global outbreak, and leading the charge against racism in the U.S. And abroad, it was female national leaders who reined in infection and death rates in their countries to the lowest levels worldwide.

My guest this week on Vox Novus, Gloria Feldt, the “Practical Activist,” says it is women who will turn our world around using “Intentioning” and accomplish this by 2025. Gloria Feldt is a New York Times best-selling author, speaker, commentator, and feminist leader who has gained national recognition as a social and political advocate of women’s rights. In 2013, she co-founded Take The Lead, a nonprofit initiative with a goal to propel women to leadership parity by 2025. She is a former CEO and president of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, directing the organization from 1996 to 2005. She has been featured in The New York Times, The Washington Post, Forbes, Time, NBC, Fast Company, Vanity Fair, and much more. Her website is https://gloriafeldt.com/, and she joins me this week to share her “practivism” and new book, Intentioning: Sex, Power, Pandemics, and How Women Will Take The Lead for (Everyone’s) Good.
