Do we still need to consult a shaman for our physical and spiritual health? People have been guided by shamans for over 12,000 years but what do we, in the modern western world, even know about the shamans? Who are they and what is their history? Has the need and use of shamanism changed? My guest, Sandy Steers has been practicing shamanism for over thirty years. But Sandy also employs other techniques which compliment her practice of Incan shamanism including Neuro-Linguistic Programming and Intuitive Energy Medicine which we will discuss. Tune in to learn a brief history of shamanism and how the practice of shamanistic ways can benefit us even today.

Sandy Steers has over 30 years of experience in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Shamanic Healing (Inca tradition), Channeling/Energy Reading, Intuitive Energy Medicine and Past Life Transformation, along with other healing modalities. Originally a biologist, systems analyst/designer and entrepreneur, her passion and life changed direction after healing from stage 4 cancer utilizing alternative techniques and learning about the tremendous power we each have inside of us.

Her work now focuses on guiding clients and students to self-empowerment and mastery—transforming our perspectives, perceptions and awareness to remember our wholeness and fully express who we came here to be. Her philosophy is that we are limitless beings, each a unique expression of the Unified Field of Energy. Our purpose is to be who we are, to express our creativity, passion, wisdom, love, beauty and joy from our own unique perspective in the Universe.
