Marilyn Maldonado is a practicing Curandera / Sacred Medicine Woman and an ordained interfaith Reverend. Born and raised in the South Bronx, New York, and currently resides in Dutchess County, New York.

She earned her Master of Science Degree in Counseling and a Certificate in Family Counseling. She blends multiple modalities such as Reiki, Craniosacral, Shamanic Medicine, Quantum Touch, Universal Vibrational Frequency Soul Messages, and Soul to Soul connections to name a few.

Marilyn’s journey has led her to the understanding that trusting her process is the honoring of the sacred. She acknowledges her fears, dives into the feeling places where the stories reside. Where the beliefs surrounding the fears are stored and gives herself permission to feel the feelings as she takes the deep internal dive of self-discovery.

In 2001 Marilyn’s 17-year-old daughter was killed in a car accident. She began to search her soul for answers. She was able to feel her daughters’ presence immediately after her passing. She believed that she was losing her mind but confirmation after confirmation of her daughters’ energetic presence was undeniable. People would deliver messages at crucial moments. Her daughters’ energy continues to guide her along this journey. This traumatic event changed her life forever. She could no longer reject nor ignore her abilities to connect to different dimensions.

Marilyn Maldonado fully understands that she will always be a work in progress. In her processing, she has learned that her gifts which she calls her medicine are meant to be shared and not to be hidden. She believes that when you shine your light brightly, others may feel safe enough to witness the power of their own light.

Her dream is to bring her teachings to many. Her purpose is to share her journey with others providing a safe and compassionate space to assist others in reconnecting with their soul’s desire. Techniques in releasing self-judgment, identifying and changing belief systems that no longer serve their higher purpose, so that they can be truly free to be who they came here to be.

She believes that we must do the work to clear out the excess baggage and allow the inner light to surface. That we must be committed to processing our experiences and stepping out of our own way to allow space for the medicine to surface. She also understands that there will be moments of backward motion in our thinking. Her answer to that is, to be gentle with ourselves as changing old patterns and behaviors take time to be redirected to the new pathways.

She has witnessed the shifting right before her eyes and feels truly blessed to see and feel the energetic shift in herself, clients, friends, and all who know her. To hear the words, “Oh my God, I feel lighter and ready to begin again” from her clients, feeds her soul.

Her intention is to continue to unwrap her gifts and share them with the world because she knows that guiding people back to their authentic self isn’t a miracle but a true reconnecting into the Soul.
