Lea Longo – Mantra New Age Singer
Lea Longo has performed all over the world bringing mantra style world music together with jazz and pop elements. She creates a seamless musical experience with her silky voice, songwriting talents and performs in notable Festivals like Bhakti Fest, Wanderlust, The Montreal Chant Fest and more. She has sung for divine spiritual masters and artists as DEVA PREMAL and Miten, Sai Maa and Sri Tathata and has lended her voice for notable kirtan artists as The GURU GANESHA band, and Dave Stringer. Her last album SONGS OF A SIREN contains three well known jazz standards —“The Very Thought of You,” “Fever” and “Here’s to Life” blended with mantras, and a collection of original love songs, hypnotizing the listener with Lea’s sensual, seducing vocals, musical arrangements morphing the verses and choruses with Indian mantras via the Sitar, tablas and jazz guitars making the “East meets West” a true successful listening discovery. Songs of A Siren was also NOMINATED for Vocal Album of the Year.
She is also the founder of the Montreal Chant Festival that she produces annually in Montreal and continues to support the Montreal Kirtan community by performing monthly, leading her group meditation sessions ( ZEN EXPERIENCE )at special events and venues.
